AI consulting for small business means working with an expert to identify and put in place AI solutions that make a smaller operation more efficient and productive, and help it grow.
Small businesses should use AI where it can save time, reduce manual tasks, and provide insight for growth. That includes automating routine workflows, improving customer interactions, supporting sales and marketing, and using data analysis to make better-informed decisions.
An AI business consultant helps you work out where AI can improve how your business runs, and how to make it work. That means understanding your goals, processes, data and systems, cutting through the noise to the tools and opportunities worth pursuing, and advising on how your team should use AI day to day. The best advice comes from people who also build, because they know what works in practice. MQLFlow does both.
The main benefit of hiring an AI consultant is finding out where AI will pay off before you spend money building it. MQLFlow's consultants know the technology and what works in businesses already running AI and automation successfully, so we can spot opportunities you'd miss, rule out the ones that won't work on your data, and tell you which tools are worth it.
MQLFlow's AI consulting covers four kinds of work: reviewing how your business runs today, advising on where AI will pay off and which tools to use, designing the solution, and building it. You won't always need all four, and we'll advise what you need. Once it's live, we can support it if you want us to.
MQLFlow's AI consulting is time-based, from £400 for a half day (consultant rates from £100 an hour, with a four-hour minimum). Builds are fixed scope: integrations and workflows typically £1k–£10k, custom builds £10k–£100k. Everything is quoted before it starts.
The return on investment from AI depends entirely on what we automate and what it costs you today, which is why discovery starts by working out where the time and money actually go, and where the biggest opportunities are. Once the solution is designed and costed, we'll estimate the return before you commit to a build, and we'll tell you if the numbers don't stack up.
MQLFlow builds practical AI systems that get used. We don't resell licences, and we chose services over software, so there's nothing for us to push: the honest answer is sometimes to buy something off the shelf or do nothing yet.
We're based in the UK, close to London, working with clients across the UK and the US. The work is remote by nature.
AI is no longer a luxury. It's essential for staying efficient against competitors who are already automating the manual work you're still doing by hand.
